Meridian Grooming brought their body-hair grooming movement from Los Angeles to the Philippines as they officially partnered with Origami Retail Philippines Inc.. The brand unveiled their products on August 24 at the Main Atrium of Eastwood Mall in Quezon City. The grand event began with a ribbon-cutting, led by Uael Canoy, CEO of Origami and Ritchie Pascual, City Deputy General Manager of Megaworld – Eastwood, using the brand’s trimmer.

The brand’s mission

More than pushing forward Meridian Grooming in the Philippine market, the brand advocates for the new era of personal grooming in the country. It emphasized embracing body hair the way individual wants; be it bare, buzz, or bush. Uael commenced the event by highlighting their mission.

"Body hair management is often a taboo, shunned from conversations in our social circles… However, we believe that it shouldn’t be the case for a challenge that significantly impacts our self-confidence, self-expression, and self-determination. Hair is Hair, it is part of us, we need to take care of it, and talk about it."

- Uael Canoy stated during introduction.

"That’s why Meridian’s brand goal is to provide Filipinos with a solution that not only trims hair, but also a platform to openly discuss with our tribe the ways to manage body hair, and explore grooming options that best fits their lifestyle. This is a healthy cultural movement that we wish to champion."

- Uael Canoy added.

After Canoy’s words, the brand unveiled their products and exhibited live product demonstration to proudly showcase the functionalities and superior quality that addresses numbers of grooming needs and styles.
